A's outfielder Coco Crisp clearly wants to be part of this photo gallery featuring the best hairstyles in sports history. That has to be the reason why he unveiled a fantastic 'fro last night. Unfortunately, Crisp (who also Tweeted this picture of the new 'do) says the 'fro has to go, so enjoy it now.
Blasphemy!
A couple of weeks ago, I saw a postgame interview with Orioles pitcher Jeremy Guthrie, who mentioned that he was looking forward to an upcoming Backstreet Boys/News Kids on the Block concert. I couldn't figure out if he was being serious. I mean, everyone secretly liked the Backstreet Boys' I Want It That Way, but I didn't think a big leaguer would confess such a thing on TV. But it doesn't just stop at the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block. Guthrie is a huge Justin Bieber fan. In fact, when he was interviewed this week at the MLB Fan Cave, Guthrie was asked what was worse, his recent bout with pneumonia or sitting through Bieber's movie. You must hear Guthrie's response. I'm not one get on people for their musical tastes -- people should be allowed to like what they like. But here is where Guthrie crossed the line -- he had the gall to knock Frank Sinatra and New York, New York. That's something you just don't do.

Model Kate Upton became an Internet sensation when she was featured in the 2011 SI Swimsuit issue. Things went to another level two weeks ago when a video of her doing "the Dougie" at a basketball game went viral. Of course, with the fame, comes gossip items linking her name to Kanye West. Upton and I discussed all of these things and more (including the racy opening to her website, KateUpton.com) on the latest edition of the Hot Clicks podcast. You can listen below or on iTunes.
