You've probably seen the pictures and video of the Mets fan in a Gary Carter jersey who joined the celebration of Johan Santana's no-hitter (which didn't sit well with folks in St. Louis) last Friday night. Well, that moment of glory for the fan didn't come without a price. Forget the time in jail or the fine he'll have to pay: The guy ended up missing his son's first birthday because he was in the slammer. One more note from the no-hitter: We got a classic "Bizarre Injury of the Day" out of it, as Mets pitcher Ramon Ramirez injured his hamstring while celebrating.
Worst Human Being Of The DayYup, another grown woman ripping a souvenir out of a kid's hand. This one is especially disgusting since Packers wide receiver Donald Driver tossed a cleat to a kid AT A CHARITY EVENT.
Sometimes It's Not About X's And O'sHow did the Celtics build up a first-half lead against the Heat last night? According to Rajon Rondo, Boston took advantage of Miami failing to get back on transition defense because the Heat were busy whining to the refs.
