Sports media people having a vendetta against certain athletes is nothing new (Hello, Barry Bonds!), but the disgust Fox 5 San Diego anchor Ross Shimabuku showed for driver Danica Patrick last Monday was over the top. Shimabuku basically called Patrick a "bitch" (he went with the tamer "b-word") and said she always has a chip on her shoulder while tossing down his papers as if he's fed up with her. Then, when the female news anchor calls out Shimabuku for his comments, he quickly changes the subject. But he does manage to get in one more dig at the very end. We can only imagine how Shimabuku reacted when Patrick spun out and hit a wall during a race on Saturday.
