SI Media Podcast: Talking media with Fox Sports writer Jimmy Traina

Welcome to episode No. 36 of the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast with Richard Deitsch. In this podcast, which is published weekly, Deitsch interviews members of the sports media about their work and interesting people about the sports media. This week's podcast guest is Fox Sports writer and former Sports Illustrated staffer Jimmy Traina.

In this episode, Deitsch and Traina discuss a number of current sports media issues, including Jim Nantz refusing to talk on air about the rumors that Peyton Manning used HGH, what network best airs the Super Bowl, whether or not taking Tom Verducci and Harold Reynolds off of Fox's baseball broadcast is a good idea, the immediate futures of ESPN and Fox Sports, the scheduling of the college football playoffs and more. To close it out, Traina turns the table and asks Deitsch a few questions, including some about Sports Illustrated's new offices, and Deitsch mocks Traina for not fully charging his landline.
