CLEVELAND (AP) -- Cavaliers forward Omri Casspi remains hospitalized in Florida after surgery to remove his appendix.

Casspi was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center complaining of stomach pain Saturday. The Cavs say he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and had surgery.

Casspi was kept overnight and will be re-evaluated Sunday. The Cavaliers beat the Magic 118-94 on Saturday without Casspi, a role player who averages 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Casspi is in his second season with the Cavs after spending two seasons with Sacramento.

The Cavs are in Miami on Sunday to take on the Eastern Conference-leading Heat and former teammate LeBron James.
