Report: Chicago, San Antonio leading for Gasol. ESPN: “The Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs have emerged as the two leading contenders to land prized free-agent big man Pau Gasol, according to sources close to the process.”

Report: Wiggins told he won't be included in potential deal for Kevin Love. Sporting News: “The more the process plays out, the more the Wolves’ near-term options seem to be dwindling. The Cavaliers are said to be willing to consider a deal for Love, but No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins has been assured he would not be included in any such trade, a source told Sporting News. That leaves the Timberwolves to pick over the likes of forward Anthony Bennett (last year's top pick) and guard Dion Waiters.”

Report: Cavs believed Thursday it was only a matter of time before James committed to them. Yahoo Sports: “In the late morning, the Cavaliers operated with a belief James would soon commit to them, that it was only a matter of time. They had word out of everyone, except as one high-ranking source said, "It still hasn't been confirmed by the only man whose confirmation counts."

ESPN.com: “One reason, if not the major reason, that LeBron James has taken so long to decide whether to play in Miami or Cleveland next season is the infamous letter Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert penned about James after the superstar left Cleveland in 2010, sources said.”
