The Orlando Magic are finalizing a contract with free agent point guard Luke Ridnour, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

Ridnour started last season with the Milwaukee Bucks and was traded to the Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets) mid-season. For the year, he averaged 5.0 points and 2.9 assists per game, well below from his career marks of 9.6 and 4.6.

Ridnour will join a backcourt stocked with young talent, including 2013 number two overall pick Victor Oladipo and 2014 first-rounder Elfrid Payton. The Magic also selected forward Aaron Gordon with the fourth pick in 2014 and signed center Channing Frye to a four-year, $32 million contract this offseason.
