Unrestricted free agent Michael Beasley is generating interest from a number of teams around the league, according to a tweet Saturday night from Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders.
The once-troubled young star took a big step forward last season with clutch performances and is currently in Los Angeles training with reigning MVP Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He had signed a one-year minimum salary deal with the Heat after getting waived by the Suns.
Despite the efficiency, the 25-year-old forward averaged a career low 7.9 points for the Heat last year, to go along with 3.1 rebounds in 15 minutes per game in MIami, making 55 appearances on the season.
