Free agent forward Al Harrington will play in China this season on a one-year deal, according to tweets from Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report.
The veteran journeyman will play for Fujian SBS Xunxing Sturgeons, news that is expected to be formally announced on Monday.
The 34-year-old envisions one day returning to the league as a member of the coaching staff with the Wizards, where he spent last season as player on Washington's roster. In 34 games for the Wizards, he averaged 6.6 points in 15 minutes per game.
Harrington was drafted by the Pacers in the first round of the 1998 NBA Draft. He has since gone on to play for the Hawks, Warriors, Knicks, Nuggets and Magic before moving to Washington.
