The Toronto Raptors are in talks with the Rochester RazorSharks of the Premier Basketball League to become the team’s NBA Developmental League affiliate, according to Time Warner Cable News-Rochester.

Seventeen of the 18 D-League franchises have relationships with NBA teams, with the exception being the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Toronto currently doesn't have an affiliated D-League team.

The Raptors went 48-34 last season, winning the Atlantic Division for the first time in seven seasons. They lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Brooklyn Nets in seven games.
