The Suns acquired Thomas in a sign-and-trade with Sacramento last month. As part of the deal, Thomas signed a contract worth $27 million over four years, according to reports. Thomas has said he felt "disrespected" by the way the Kings handled his free agency.

Thomas, 25, averaged 20.3 points and 6.3 assists last season with the Kings, who drafted him with the last pick in the 2011 draft.
The Suns went 48-34 and missed the playoffs last season.
