Adam Silver: NBA will review domestic violence policy
NBA commissioner Adam Silver said the NBA will take a fresh look at its policy on domestic violence in light of recent high-profile domestic violence cases in the NFL.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has come under intense scrutiny since the release of a video showing Rice striking his then-fiancée, now-wife, Janay Palmer.

Other NFL players involved in domestic violence cases include Carolina Pathers defensive end Grey Hardy, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald and Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer.
The NFL announced new, harsher domestic violence policy late last month. Under the policy, players are suspended six games for a first domestic violence offense, with a second offense resulting in a lifetime ban.

In the NBA, any player convicted of (or pleads guilty or no contest) a violent felony is suspended 10 games.
