Miami Heat center Justin Hamilton had a procedure to repair an abnormal heart rhythm and is expected to be sidelined for about a month, the team announced

The team says Hamilton should make a full recovery after undergoing a procedure at South Miami Hospital to repair an atrial flutter.

Hamilton will be out for a few days and then go through approximately three weeks of non-contact exercise before returning to practice. Hamilton, 24, felt light-headed during training camp practice and was evaluated, at which point the abnormal heart rhythm was found.

Hamilton was selected in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft out of LSU by the Philadelphia 76ers. Last season, he averaged 3.3 points in eight games, seven of which came with the Heat and one with Charlotte.
