With a little more than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and Toronto leading 114-75, Johnson filled the lane on the fast break, taking off from outside the restricted area to pancake Davies and finish a strong one-handed slam. The forceful highlight led rapper, noted Raptors fan and sweater connoisseur Drake to jump to his feet in celebration.
The result of Sunday's game was rarely in question, as the Raptors raced out to a double-digit lead over the winless Sixers and were never challenged.
DeMar DeRozan finished with a game-high 24 points (on 8-of-12 shooting) and six rebounds in 26 minutes for Toronto. Terrence Ross added 17 points and five rebounds in the win. Johnson, who signed with Toronto during the offseason after spending the 2013-14 campaign with Memphis, finished with eight points (on 4-of-5 shooting) and four rebounds off the bench.
Toronto improved to 6-1. Philadelphia dropped to 0-7.
