Warriors will wear new slate alternate uniforms every Saturday

The Warriorsannounced Friday they will their new slate-colored alternate uniforms every Saturday. 

The team revealed the uniform in September and will debut them Saturday night against the Hornets.

The Warriors were the first NBA team to add a sleeved jersey to their wardrobe in the 2012-13 season, wearing a gold model for three games. They wore a white sleeved jersey for their Saturday home games last season.

The Magic unveiled a new silver sleeved jersey before the season began. The Rockets have a red sleeved jersey with Mandarin lettering they will wear at certain points this season, according to Yahoo Sports.

The Warriors will wear the slate jerseys for all Saturday games, both at home and on the road. For home games, the team will also have a variety of activities for fans as part of "Slate Night."
