San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker and forward Tim Duncan will sit out against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, the Spurs announced

Parker will be out due to bruised ribs sustained in practice, while Duncan is being held out for rest reasons. San Antonio will also continue to be without center Tiago Splitter, who is dealing with a calf injury, and point guard Patty Mills, who had right shoulder surgery.

This is the second time this season the 38-year-old Duncan will be rested for a game, after also sitting out a Nov. 6 game against the Houston Rockets.
