D-League teammates suspended two games for fighting each other

The NBA Development League has suspended Iowa Energy forward Jarnell Stokes and guard Kalin Lucas two games each for fighting each other during a game last week.

Stokes and Lucas fought on the bench in the third quarter of the Energy's victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

The Energy are the D-League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies. Stokes was a second-round draft pick by the Grizzlies out of Tennessee in 2014. He has played in 16 games for Memphis while averaging 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds. He has averaged 14.1 points and 8.6 rebounds in the D-League.

Lucas is averaging 18.1 points and 4.7 assists for the Energy this season. He is in his fourth season out of Michigan State and has played in one game this season for the Grizzlies.
