With a little over seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and Utah leading 83-82, Lillard used a right-to-left crossover to drive past Elijah Millsap at the top of the key. The path to the rim opened wide once Millsap slipped and fell and Lillard took full advantage, gathering from outside the circle before rising to attempt a right-handed dunk.

How can Lillard become an undeniable All-Star?

The 7-foot-1 Gobert is one of the league's premier rim protectors, but his left-handed attempt to swat Lillard was unsuccessful, as Portland's point guard flushed it home over top of him.

If you're feeling a slight case of deja vu, that's because Lillard has been dunking all over the competition in 2015.

Although he was passed over for his second All-Star appearance, Lillard has thrown down big dunks on the Celtics' Tyler Zeller, the Kings' Derrick Williams and the Lakers' Jordan Hill in the New Year.

Gordon Hayward led the Jazz with a game-high 27 points, five rebounds and five assists. Gobert added seven points, 15 rebounds and two blocks off the bench.

Portland improved to 33-16. Utah fell to 17-31.
