Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver will replace Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade in Sunday's All-Star Game, the NBA announced Tuesday

Wade was ruled out of the All-Star Game after missing the Heat's last six games with a hamstring injury.

Korver, a 12-year veteran, has never been selected for the All-Star Game before. His selection gives the Hawks four players in the game. Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap and Al Horford were also selected. Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer will coach the Eastern Conference team.

Korver is averaging 12.9 points per game this season, his best average since the 2006-07 season. He is also leading the league in three-pointers made, three-point shooting percentage and free throw percentage.

The All-Star Game will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
