The Los Angeles Clippers signed guard Nate Robinson to a 10-day contract, the team announced Saturday.

Robinson has been a free agent since the Boston Celtics bought out his contract on Jan. 14 after he was traded from the Denver Nuggets. Robinson was only playing an average of 14.1 minutes with the Nuggets. He was averaging 5.8 points, 2.3 assists and 1.2 rebounds per game.

Robinson announced the deal on Instagram on Saturday with a photo of himself in his new No. 8 Clippers jersey.

Robinson will be available to play on Sunday when the Clippers visit the Golden State Warriors.

The guard was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2005 NBA draft.
