Jeff Green added another poster dunk to his collection when he stretched out for a one-handed slam over the top of Aron Baynes during the Spurs' 103-89 home victory over the Grizzlies on Sunday.
With a little over 11 minutes remaining in the second quarter and the Spurs leading 28-23, Green attacked the paint from the right wing in transition. Four Spurs defenders were back in position, but none succeeded in shutting down the lane for Green, who snaked between Baynes and Diaw and rose up for his attempt before he hit the protected circle.
[daily_cut.NBA] Green extended the ball Statue of Liberty style over the top of the 6'10" Baynes, softly finishing the dunk before both crashed to the court. The officials scored the basket and awarded Green a free throw on the play.
San Antonio cruised to the double-digit victory thanks to a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds from Kawhi Leonard. Tony Parker added 17 points and six assists.
Green tallied 19 points and one rebound for the Grizzlies, who lost their third straight game and slipped to the No. 3 spot in the Western Conference playoff picture. Zach Randolph scored a team-high 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
San Antonio improved to 47-26. Memphis fell to 50-24.
