• Former Ohio State point guard D'Angelo Russell canceled his visit and workout with the Philadelphia 76ers this weekend after getting sick, reports Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Mannix projects the 76ers to select Russell.
• Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins would like the team to select former Kentucky center Willie Cauley-Stein with the No. 6 pick, reports ESPN's Ryen Russillo. Scouts put Cauley-Stein in a "special tier" defensively, according to Russillo. Mannix projects the Utah Jazz to select Cauley-Stein with the No. 12 pick.
• The New York Knicks are scheduled to meet with former Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky next week in New York, reports Marc Berman of the New York Post. The Knicks hold the No. 4 pick, but a recent report suggested the team could be considering trading down in the draft. Mannix projects the Charlotte Hornets to select Kaminsky with the No. 9 pick.
• "Recent buzz" indicates that point guard Emmanuel Mudiay could slip in the draft, reports Mannix. Mannix projects the Kings to select Mudiay with the No. 6 pick.
