The NBA rumor mill will continue to churn as we move closer to the draft next month. Even as the Warriors and Cavaliers compete in the NBA Finals, check back often as we update below with all the latest draft scoops, including news, rumors and possible transactions.

The draft will be held on June 25. The Minnesota Timberwolves hold the No. 1 pick, and the Los Angeles Lakers hold the No. 2 pick. The Philadelphia 76ers will pick third.

Common Sense Mock Draft 2.0: New No. 1, two trades and more

• Former Ohio State point guard D'Angelo Russell canceled his visit and workout with the Philadelphia 76ers this weekend after getting sick, reports Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Mannix projects the 76ers to select Russell.

• There is "no doubt" the Minnesota Timberwolves are taking Karl-Anthony Towns with the No. 1 pick, an "insider" told Mark Heisler of Forbes. Mannix projects Minnesota to select Towns.

• Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins would like the team to select former Kentucky center Willie Cauley-Stein with the No. 6 pick, reports ESPN's Ryen Russillo. Scouts put Cauley-Stein in a "special tier" defensively, according to Russillo. Mannix projects the Utah Jazz to select Cauley-Stein with the No. 12 pick.

• The New York Knicks are scheduled to meet with former Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky next week in New York, reports Marc Berman of the New York Post. The Knicks hold the No. 4 pick, but a recent report suggested the team could be considering trading down in the draft. Mannix projects the Charlotte Hornets to select Kaminsky with the No. 9 pick.

• "Recent buzz" indicates that point guard Emmanuel Mudiay could slip in the draft, reports Mannix. Mannix projects the Kings to select Mudiay with the No. 6 pick.

• The Knicks will work out former Arizona forward Stanley Johnson on Friday, reports's Ian Begley. Mannix projects the Miami Heat to select Johnson with the No. 10 pick.
