Free-agent forward DeMarre Carroll has agreed to a four-year, $60 million deal with the Toronto Raptors, reports Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

Carroll spent the last two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks and became a valuable third scoring option during this year’s playoff run. During the regular season, Carroll averaged 12.6 points (a career-high), 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists while playing in 70 games.

During Atlanta’s run to the Eastern Conference finals, Carroll upped his scoring average to 14.4 points in Hawks’ 16 postseason games.

The Hawks entered free agency with nearly $25 million in salary cap space.

The team reportedly offered All-Star forward Paul Millsap a four-year, $80 million maximum deal. Millsap is reportedly deciding on returning to Atlanta or signing a similar deal with the Orlando Magic.

Carroll, 28, a former first-round pick by the Memphis Grizzlies, has spent time on the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz.

In six NBA seasons, Carroll has a career averages of 7.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
