Report: Ed Davis agrees to three-year deal with Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers and free-agent forward Ed Davis have reportedly agreed to a three-year, $20 million contract.

The Portland Trail Blazers and free-agent forward Ed Davis have agreed to a three-year, $20 million contract, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Davis, who played last season for the Los Angeles Lakers, averaged 8.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 2014–15. 

The 26-year-old was the No. 13 draft pick in 2010 and has also played for the Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies. He has started 82 games over his five-year career and has a career 55.6% shooting percentage.

Earlier Thursday, the Trail Blazers agreed to a five-year maximum contract extension with guard Damian Lillard.

Portland went 51–31 last season and lost to the Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs.
