The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a contract with veteran free-agent point guard Lou Williams, according to multiple reports. RealGM's Shams Charania was first to report the news. Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the news, adding that the deal is for three years and $21 million.

Williams, 28, is entering his 11th season in the NBA. He averaged a career-high 15.5 points in 80 games off the bench for the Toronto Raptors last season. He also added 2.1 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 25.2 minutes per game.

Williams had also been linked to the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings, among other teams.

Willams would join Kobe Bryant, D'Angelo Russell and Nick Young in the Lakers' backcourt.
