The Wizards unveiled new “Baltimore Pride” uniforms on Wednesday that they will wear throughout the upcoming season.

The Wizards, who played in Baltimore from 1963 to ’73 as the Bullets, will wear the uniforms for six games during the season. The uniforms pay homage to the team’s history as the Bullets with an updated color scheme to match the Wizards’ current red, white and blue.

Washington also plans to honor the franchise’s past with the addition of a display to the Verizon Center that will feature all of the uniforms in team history. The display will be available for public viewing beginning Oct. 6, the night of a preseason game against the 76ers.

At home, the Wizards will wear the blue uniforms on Jan. 3 against the Heat and on Feb. 28 against the Cavaliers.

Washington will wear its red road jerseys at home on Dec. 6 against the Mavericks and on April 10 against the Hornets.
