Video: Rockets’ Clint Capela throws it down on Suns’ Brandon Knight

Houston Rockets center Clint Capela threw down a solid one-handed dunk over Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight during their preseason game on Wednesday.

With the Rockets trailing 67–64 in the third quarter, Capela ran the break and received a bounce pass from teammate Patrick Beverley.

He took two steps, and launched into the air, tossing the ball through with his right hand, and knocking Knight backward.

The Rockets topped the Suns 135–129 in OT to improve to 2–1 on the preseason. Capela finished with 12 points and a team-leading 10 rebounds. The second-year center backs up Dwight Howard and helps make up what SI.com’s Rob Mahoney writes as one of the NBA’s three best bench rotations.

Knight scored nine points and added three rebounds for Phoenix. The Suns acquired Knight in a three-team deadline deal last February.
