The Sacramento Kings have released forward Vince Hunter and guard Marshall Henderson, the team announced in a press release Thursday.

The cut brings down the Kings’ roster to 16 players.

Hunter saw two minutes of preseason action during the a preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 13. Henderson also received little playing time this preseason.

Hunter, 21, declared for the 2015 NBA draft after his sophomore year at the University of Texas El Paso. Hunter went undrafted and then joined the Philadelphia 76ers for the summer league. He later signed with the Kings for training camp in September of this year.

Henderson, 25, went undrafted out of Ole Miss in the 2014 NBA Draft and then played overseas. The Kings also signed Henderson in September.

The Kings take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday for their final preseason game.
