Kenneth Faried played hero for the Denver Nuggets Wednesday night, putting back an airball miss from Danilo Gallinari to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 103–102.

The Bucks, trailing by 13 early in the fourth quarter, rallied back largely behind the offensive efforts of Jerryd BaylessGiannis Antetokounmpo scored off an out-of-bounds play with 17.5 seconds left to give Milwaukee a 102–101 lead.

On a do-or-die possession, Denver gave the ball to Gallinari on the right wing, where he spun and lofted a fadeaway jumper that fell way short of the rim. But Milwaukee failed to box out Faried, who caught the miss and put it back in midair for the 103–102 win.

Faried finished with 19 points on 8-for-9 shooting and nine rebounds. The Nuggets moved to 4–4 and dropped the Bucks to 4–5.
