Spurs' Manu Ginobili out 2 games with hip issue

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Veteran Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will miss the next two games with hip tightness.

San Antonio (8-2) announced the move before Wednesday night's home game against Denver. He will also miss Friday's game at New Orleans and will be re-evaluated before Saturday's game against Memphis.

In nine games this season, Ginobili is averaging 11.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals.
