Sure, the Clippers are known for their alley-oops, but this was just plain ridiculous.

During the third quarter of their game Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets, an airborne Blake Griffin caught a pass from Wesley Johnson with just over a second on the shot clock, and drilled a three.

The fact that Griffin was able to recognize the need to rise for the shot before he caught the ball was impressive by itself. The fact he was able to stay squared to the basket and hit the shot was even more incredible.

The Clippers won 111–94 for their seventh win this season and get back to .500. After starting the year 4–0, L.A. struggled during a 2–7 stretch. Griffin tied for a team-high 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 33 minutes.
