During a timeout late in the fourth quarter of Milwaukee’s 129–118 loss, Kidd lost his temper and knocked the basketball out of a referee’s hand. He had to be restrained by players, was given a technical foul and ejected.
According to a release, Kidd was suspended for “aggressively pursuing and confronting a game official, slapping the ball out of his hands, and not leaving the court in a timely manner upon his ejection.”
