Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving says he’s ‘back,’ returning vs. Sixers
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving appears ready to return to the lineup after tweeting “I’m back” Saturday.
Irving has missed all of the Cavaliers’ regular season games while recovering from a fractured kneecap sustained during Game 1 of the NBA Finals over the summer. The Cavaliers are 17–7 and in first place in the East. They play in Philadelphia on Saturday, presumably with Irving in the starting lineup.
Last season, Irving averaged 21.7 points, 5.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game. He played in 75 regular season games in 2014–15, the most of his career.
