NBA All-Star weekend could be headed to Los Angeles in 2018, reports USA Today’s Sam Amick.

All-Star-goers faced record-low temperatures in Toronto over the weekend. The game moves to Charlotte in 2017 after two cold-weather years in a row, including another freezing weekend in New York/Brooklyn in 2015.

Amick reports there has been “significant progress” made toward L.A. playing host, though a deal has not yet been made.

Indianapolis and Miami are reportedly also on the shortlist for 2018, with Sacramento angling for 2019 when their new arena will be open for business.
