Jimmy Butler will return from his knee injury on Monday night against the Raptors, the Bulls guard told reporters at shootaround.
The 26-year-old strained his left knee during a win over the Denver Nuggets on Feb. 5, and missed Chicago’s next 11 games. Butler initially returned on March 5 but hasn’t played since.
“I think my team needs me to get us into the playoffs,” Butler said, according to the Chicago Tribune. “I gotta do whatever it takes to help my team win. I let the coaches know that. I [executives Gar Forman and John Paxson] know that. If I’m stepping out on that floor, I’m giving my all for as long as my team needs me.”
