ESPN analyst Hubie Brown was a guest on the SI Media Podcast with Richard Deitsch on Monday, and broke down exactly he would go about shutting down reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry.

Brown, a two-time Coach of the Year in his storied career on the sidelines, said that he would aim to press Cury the length of the court.

“You would press them man-to-man, and have [Curry] reverse twice before he got to half court,” Brown said. “That’s tough on your point guard ... that’s how we used to it to Magic Johnson, and then to Isiah Thomas, and then to John Starks, and then to Kevin Johnson, and all of the great point guards.”

You can hear him discuss Curry around the 49-minute mark below.

Curry and the Warriors visit the Timberwolves at 8 p.m. ET on Monday.
