LeBron James moves into 12th all-time scoring with 24 points vs. Nets

LeBron James has moved into 12th place on the NBA all-time scoring list after scoring 24 points in the Cavaliers’ 107–87 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night.

James passed Dominique Wilkins’s 26,668 points with a three-point shot in the first quarter. By the end of the night James’s career total had reached 26,689 points, edging closer to Oscar Robertson in 11th place on the all-time list with 26,710 points.

James has been averaging 25.0 points per game this season, and reached 24 on Thursday night despite sitting out the fourth quarter.

The Cavaliers next play the Atlanta Hawks at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.
