Bryant wore the No. 8 on his jersey for the first 10 years in the league and switched to the No. 24 for the final decade of his career. The Los Angeles star won three championships in his original number, and an MVP award along with two more rings after making the switch.

In addition to the hardwood tribute, Bryant has been the subject of many remembrances in the final week, with Nike declaring Wednesday “Mamba Day,” NBA2K announcing a special ”Legends Edition” featuring the star, and Charles Barkley delivering his goodbyes to Kobe on air on Tuesday night.
