Clippers’ Jamal Crawford named Sixth Man of the Year

Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford has been named the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year, the league announced Tuesday.
Crawford finished with 51 first place votes, 23 second place votes and 17 third place votes for a 341–point total. Oklahoma City's Enes Kanter finished second with 182 points, and Will Barton took third with 158 points to round out the top three.
This is Crawford’s third time winning the award, making him the first player in NBA history to accomplish that feat. He previously won the award with the Clippers in 2014 and the Atlanta Hawks in 2010.
Crawford averaged 14.2 points in the regular season, helping the Clippers to a 53–29 record and the No. 4 seed in the playoffs.

He stepped up for Los Angeles down the stretch, averaging 19.5 points per game during February.
The Clippers currently have a 1–0 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers in their first round playoff series. Game 2 will be played on Wednesday.
