Raptors guard Kyle Lowry criticized his performance during this year’s playoffs on Tuesday night, expressing his frustration with his lack of contribution to reporters after Toronto’s loss to the Miami Heat.

“I have (been through slumps like this), but not at this time, and that’s what sucks,” Lowry said, according to the Toronto Star. “Playoffs, all eyes are on you. So it sucks that I’m playing this bad when all eyes are on me, because I know I’m way better than this. So I’ve got to pick this s--- up.”

Despite making the Hail Mary half-court heave at the buzzer that sent Tuesday’s game into overtime, Lowry shot just 3 for 13 with seven points during the game, and is shooting 30.6% from the field through eight playoff games. During the regular season he made 42.7% of shots and averaged 21.2 points per game.

After the game, Lowry told reporters he was planning to stay in the gym for extra practice, and still had not left after 1 a.m., according to the Raptors’ Twitter account.

“I’m going to hang out here for a little bit and just be in the gym, try to get back to just enjoying it, being in the gym, and having fun,” Lowry said. “I shoot the ball well when I’m by myself, but I’m by myself.”

The Raptors host the Heat for Game 2 on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
