Warriors force Game 7 with 108–101 win over Thunder

The Warriors topped the Thunder in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Saturday night in Oklahoma City to extend the series.

The Warriors topped the Thunder in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Saturday night 108–101 to extend the series.

Golden State raced back late in the fourth with two minutes left to tie the game and then 25 seconds later went ahead 104–101 for its first lead since it was 12–10 at the five-minute mark in the first. The Warriors entered the fourth quarter trailing 83–75.

From there, they pulled away in large part to crucial turnovers committed by Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

Klay Thompson hit a playoff record 11 threes and finished with a game-high 41 points. Stephen Curry added 29 points and six threes for Golden State. 

Durant led Oklahoma City with 29 points while Westbrook just missed a triple double with 28 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists.

Golden State forces a Game 7 on Monday night in Oakland.
