The Sacramento Kings will trade guard Marco Belinelli to the Charlotte Hornets, reports The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Sacramento will receive the No. 22 pick in return. The deal cannot be completed until after July 1, so Charlotte will pick for the Kings during the draft.

Belinelli recently completed his first season with the Kings. He played in 68 games, averaging 10.2 points per game on 30.6% shooting from three.

The Derrick Rose trade is all sizzle and no steak

Long known for his outside shooting ability, Belinelli has shot 37.9% from deep in his career. Belinelli, 30, has previously played for the Spurs, Bulls, Pelicans, Raptors and Warriors.
