Agent: Wizards, Bradley Beal agree to five-year, $128 million deal

The Wizards and shooting guard Bradley Beal have agreed to a five-year deal for the maximum $128 million, Beal’s agent Mark Bartelstein told The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Multiplereports Thursday night indicated that the sides were close to a deal.
Beal, a four-year veteran, has started 213 of the 247 games he's played for Washington over his career. He is coming off an injury-shortened 2015-16 season that saw him average 17.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
The Warriors selected Beal out of Florida with the third pick in the 2012 draft. He has shot 39.7% from three-point range and 42.6% from the field in his four NBA seasons.
The deal would keep the 23-year-old in Washington through 2022.
