Free-agent guard O.J. Mayo has been dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug program, the NBA announced Friday.

Mayo, 28, can apply for reinstatement in two years. He previously served a 10-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs in 2011.

Mayo has played the last three seasons of his career with the Bucks. In March of this year, Mayo fractured his ankle, causing him to miss the rest of the season.
