The Los Angeles Lakers and free agent Luol Deng have agreed to a four-year, $72 million deal, reports Shams Charania of the Vertical.
He reportedly had serious discussions with multiple teams this offseason, including the Washington Wizards and the Utah Jazz, before ultimately deciding to head to Los Angeles.
Deng, struggled early last season with the Miami Heat, but was successful after moving to the power forward position in the absence of Chris Bosh.
The 31-year-old averaged 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 2015–16.
A two-time All-Star, Deng has averaged 15.5 points and 6.2 rebounds over his career.
Deng is the second piece the Lakers have added to their roster this offseason, joining big man Timofey Mozgov.
