Free agent guard Lance Stephenson has reportedly signed a contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Marc Stein of ESPN and Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Stephenson, 26, was a star for the Indiana Pacers in the 2013-14 season as he averaged 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists before signing a three-year, $27 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets. He regressed in his time with the Hornets and was dealt to Los Angeles after one season and then to the Memphis Grizzlies last year.

Stephenson is coming off a season in which he played in just 26 games with the Grizzlies and averaged 14.2 points while shooting 47.4 percent from the field.

Stephenson worked out for the Pelicans earlier this month before signing his new deal.
