Former Cavs coach David Blatt will receive a championship ring from the team, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Blatt was fired midway through the season and replaced by assistant Tyronn Lue, who helped lead the team to its first ever title, and the first for a Cleveland sports franchise in 52 years. Blatt went 83–40 with the Cavaliers and helped the team to the 2015 Finals, where they lost to the Warriors in six games.

Blatt is now the head coach of Turkish club Darussafaka Dogus.

The Cavs are set to receive their rings ahead of their opener against the Knicks Oct. 25, when the team will raise its championship banner at Quicken Loans Arena.
