Bulls expect injured Carter-Williams to be out 4-6 weeks

CHICAGO (AP) The Chicago Bulls expect guard Michael Carter-Williams to miss 4-6 weeks because of a bruised left knee and sprained left wrist.

The team said Tuesday that an MRI showed no structural damage.

Carter-Williams took a hard fall contesting a layup in the second quarter of Monday's win at Brooklyn. Acquired in a trade with Milwaukee on Oct. 17, he is averaging 4.0 points.

The Syracuse product was the 2014 Rookie of the Year after being drafted 11th overall by Philadelphia and was traded to Milwaukee during the 2014-15 season.
