We won't know who will be playing in the 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston until Thursday night, but we now know what they'll be wearing.
Inspired by Houston's "rich aeronautical history and the speed of the jet planes that dot its skies," the jerseys, released by Adidas Wednesday morning, feature shooting stars on the side and a camo-like pattern throughout the torso. Gone is the contrasting fade that marked last year's jerseys.
Adidas also notes that the yet-to-be-released "aviator-style" All-Star warmups will feature individual career accomplishments, including All-Star Game appearances, All-Star Game MVP awards, NBA titles and regular-season awards. This sounds like it'll be a great touch, though I wonder if there will be enough room for all of Kobe's accolades.
