Video: LeBron James throws down another spectacular dunk in warmups

LeBron James is turning the Heat's pregame warmups into appointment viewing -- for now.

James threw down another spectacular dunk before Tuesday's game against Sacramento in Miami. Starting near the left baseline, James tossed the ball high in the air, grabbed it off the bounce with his left hand while beginning his jump, transferred it between his legs to his right hand and finished with power. This one came two days after his between-the-legs, off-the-backboard pregame jam lit up the Internet.

LeBron, however, says the pregame routine -- which hints at the type of stuff he could do if he ever entered the NBA Slam Dunk Contest -- might not last.

"Maybe I should stop because it's making a lot of people mad about what I do," James said after Tuesday's game, according to ESPN.com. "They're like, 'Well, if you can do it in warmups, why don't you [want to] be in the dunk contest?' Stop it.'"

Suitably warmed up Tuesday, James went on to record 40 points, eight rebounds and a career-high 16 assists as the Heat outlasted Sacramento 141-129 in double overtime to extend their winning streak to 12 games. Miami maintained its six-game lead over Indiana in the Eastern Conference and closed within 2½ games of San Antonio for the NBA's best record.

That performance capped an outlandish February in which James averaged 29.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.8 assists and shot 64.1 percent from the field and 43.2 percent from three-point range in 13 games.
